Below are the steps necessary to use a PowerPoint presentation on the web with Event Registrar

Steps we will take in this course include:

1. Convert your PowerPoint to HTML.
2. Zip or Tar the file using WinZip or another compression program.
3. Upload the file into ER.
4. View the link to your PowerPoint.

Here’s a few things to remember when dealing with files, servers and uploading.

1. Don’t use illegal character names in the file name such as punctuation, etc.
2. Keep the file names short and simple. Try to be descriptive but do NOT use spaces. Use an underscore if you want to create a space between words, ie; my_file.html.
3. It’s best to use titles in your slides because of the way PowerPoint labels your slides.
